Quality Policy
The Saudi Commission for Health Specialties, within the framework of its strategic vision, aims to empower globally competitive health practitioners. In fulfilling its mission, it seeks to qualify them through a world-class regulatory model that aims to establish safe standards that meet health needs and changes.
To achieve this, the Commission commits to the following:
- Providing high-quality services to all health practitioners inside and outside the Kingdom to ensure their preparation and qualification to lead the future health workforce.
- Supporting and developing the competencies of health practitioners to serve as a global benchmark for professional excellence.
- Providing the required awareness and support in the field of quality and continuous improvement to build the Commission’s institutional capabilities, enhance the efficiency of Commission staff, and promote a culture of quality in a manner that achieves the satisfaction of the Commission’s members and stakeholders.
- Ensuring the availability of the necessary resources, expertise, and infrastructure, and conducting periodic reviews of performance reports, to support continuous improvement and development of services, processes, and systems in line with the needs of the Commission’s members and stakeholders.
- Planning and supporting the Commission’s quality management system processes and their continuous improvement in accordance with the requirements of the international standard ISO 9001:2015, and in alignment with the excellence model of the King Abdulaziz Quality Award, the European Foundation for Quality Management excellence model EFQM, and relevant regulatory and legislative requirements related to the services provided.
The Saudi Commission for Health Specialties is also keen to make this policy and the directions it covers available to all concerned parties, and to ensure it is communicated to all Commission members through available communication means and channels. It also ensures periodic review of the quality policy and objectives to guarantee the continuity of their effective and efficient implementation.
