New Program Accreditation

 

It is the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties accreditation for the training program after the program accreditation standards are met

 

:New Program Accreditation

:Requirements

  1.  The Program Accreditation application form (click here) 
  2. Depositing the program accreditation fee of 5,000 SAR per program to (SCFHS’s account) and attaching a copy of the deposit receipt  
  3. The CVs of the program manager and members of the training body as well as a copy of the electronic professional record of classification and registration issued by Mumaris+
  4.  A letter signed and sealed by the official representative of academic affairs and training addressed to the Executive Administration to be accredited by SCFHS at least 6 months before the date specified to admission opening the for trainees 
  5.  All applications shall be sent to the email: programs.accreditation@scfhs.org.sa

 

:To apply for obtaining new program accreditation please consider the following

  1. Reviewing and complying to regulations and bylaws of Institutional and Program Accreditation
  2. Reviewing the list of Accredited Programs by SCFHS (click here)
  3. Reviewing accredited programs and filling the agreement form 
  4. Viewing the intuitional accreditation and the filling out the form (click here)

 

Establishment of new training program

:Application procedures

  1.  A letter shall be addressed to the Chief Executive Officer of Academic Affairs in SCFHS to request a new training program establishment 
  2. After the need for the program has been recognized by the Education and Training Executive Council in SCFHS, the training curriculum and accreditation standards shall be developed   
  3. Announcement of the program curriculum and its accreditation standards
  4. Receiving accreditation standards application for joining the program 
  5.  The healthcare institution shall apply for Program Accreditation according to the appropriate form (click here) after it has been signed by the representative of Academic
  6.  and training Affairs in SCFHS  along with a letter addressed to Executive Accreditation Administration in SCFHS demonstrating the desire of the training center to obtain Program Accreditation. All requirements shall be sent to  programs.accreditation@scfhs.org​.sa  
  7. Reviewing the request and ensuring all requirements are met 
  8. A team of accreditation surveyors will be sent to visit and evaluate the training program in terms of meeting the standards of program in the training center 
  9. A report on the visit by the accreditation surveyors will be presented to the competent committee
  10. If all program accreditation standards are met, a program accreditation decision will be issued and sent to the training center

 

 

:Applying for Modifying the Holding Capacity of an Accredited Training Program

:Requirements

  1.  Modifying the Holding Capacity form (click here)
  2. A signed and stamped letter from the official representative of academic affairs and training, addressed to the Executive Accreditation Administration at the SCFHS, to request the modification of the holding capacity of the training program, at least three months prior to the date set for admission opening for trainees  
  3. All the application shall be sent to the email: programs.accreditation@scfhs.org.sa

 

:Applying for the Conversion of a Training Program Accreditation

:Requirements

  1. Application form (click here) 
  2. The self-assessment form for the program accreditation standards for the training program
  3. All Application shall be sent to the email:  programs.accreditation@scfhs.org.sa

To apply for conversing shared training program to full training program please consider the following:

  • The Application shall be submitted by the official representative of Academic and training Affairs in the training center
  • Supporting the conversing application by the Chairman of the shared training committee (Co-executive director of training) in the training sector
  • Setting the date of starting implementing the conversion of training program to full training program with the recognition of obligation resulting from it 
  • Sending the application form to the Executive Accreditation Administration email, attaching a copy of the self- assessment form of the program accreditation for the training program (click here)

 

* No program accreditation additional fees are required for conversing shared training program to full training program

:Applying for the Addition of a Training Course

  1. The application form (click here) 
  2. The self-evaluation form for the program accreditation standards for the training program 
  3. Trainer CVs and a copy of the electronic professional classification and registration record issued through Mumaris Plus 
  4. All Application shall be sent to the email:  programs.accreditation@scfhs.org.sa

 

To Apply for addition of a training course for the accredited training program please consider the following:

  • The Application shall be submitted by the official representative of the training and academic affairs in the training center

No additional program accreditation additional fees are required for adding a training course for the accredited training program *

 

:Applying for the Addition of a Training Location Accreditation 

  1. Application form (click here)  
  2. The self-assessment form for the program accreditation standards for the training program 
  3. Trainer CVs and a copy of the electronic professional classification and registration record issued through Mumaris Plus 
  4. All Application shall be sent to the email: programs.accreditation@scfhs.org.sa

To Apply for addition of a training location ram please consider the following:

  • The Application shall be submitted by the official representative of the training and academic affairs in the training center

No additional program accreditation additional fees are required for adding a training location for the accredited training program *

 

:Withdrawing Program Accreditation of a Training Center

:Requirements

  1.   The official representative of academic affairs and training at the training center shall submit a request to withdraw the training center Institutional Accreditation decision
  2. All Application shall be sent to the email: programs.accreditation@scfhs.org.sa

No additional program accreditation additional fees are required for withdrawing program accreditation  *

:Remote Virtual Program Accreditation Visit
