Requirements for re-classification based on new qualifications

  • Academic qualification document/s

  • It shall include the date of issuance, the date of graduation, the title of the certificate, and the specialization.

  • Academic record indicating the program details and duration.

  • Practical training or internship certificate showing details of the training, the date of joining the training, and the date of completion.

  • Certificate of completion of training for the higher professional certificates

  • It shall indicate the details of the program, such as the duration, the date of joining the training, and the date of completion. (This requirement is for physicians, dentists, applied medical sciences, and pharmaciests)

  • Ministry of Education's equivalency for Saudis who have academic qualifications from outside the Kingdom.

  • Professional Registration Certificate

  • It must be valid and issued by the relevant official authority in the applicant’s country in which he/she practiced work before arrival in the Kingdom. In the absence of an official body for professional registration, an official letter issued by the Ministry of Health in the applicant’s country must be attached.

  • Letter of Employment Identification

  • (For applicants on the job) It must be issued within three months prior to submitting the application from the Personnel Affairs Department or the facility's representative, proving clinical practice in the field of specialization, the professional category, and the date of starting work.

  • Professional Experience Letter

  • It must be issued by the Personnel Affairs Department or the facility's representative, proving the clinical practice in the field of specialization, the professional category, the date of start and end of work, and the date of issuance of the letter

  • Experience must not be below one year for non-Saudis, with the exception of the following:

  • Graduates of Saudi universities.

    Non-Saudis who holds a bachelor’s degree in nursing and have valid professional registration from their country.

     

  • The authentication result issued by the authentication company approved by the SCFHS for the following documents:

  • The authentication result of qualifications issued outside the Kingdom, considering the following:

      - If the classification application is based on a bachelor’s degree only, the bachelor’s certificate must be authenticated

      - If the classification application is based on postgraduate higher degrees, it is a must to authenticate the higher degrees without the need to authenticate the bachelor's degree.

    Qualifications obtained by Saudis from outside the Kingdom and have been equalized by the Ministry of Education are exempted from the authentication requirement

     

    - The authentication result of the professional registration certificate, if any, or the letter of the Ministry of Health in the applicant's country

    - The authentication result of the foreign experience letter(s) received after the qualification, if any

  • Medical Report

  • For applicants over the age of 65
